Nishat Tarannum is currently working as an Associate Lawyer in Azad & Company. She has accomplished LL.B (Hons.) from BRAC University with (Distinction)  & LL.M from BangaBandhu Sheikh Mujibar Rahman Maritime University in Maritime Law ( First Class First with highest CGPA) .  She was awarded with Vice Chancellor Scholarship for Academic Excellence at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibar Rahman University for LLM program in 2018.  Also she got Best Speaker Award in VICTORY DAY-2016 DEBAT COMPETITON organized by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Maritime University, Bangladesh. Again, she has participated in Price Media Law Moot Competition at National Law University Delhi, organized by Oxford University on 2014.  She was also the founding vice president of  UNESCO Club, BRAC University, Dhaka.
