Sadiya S. Silvee is a Doctoral Student, School of Law, Zhengzhou University (ZZU) ,China. She is working as Research Assistant at Bangladesh Institute of Law and International Affairs, BILIA (on study leave) She was associated with the Death Penalty Research Project- Bangladesh conducted by BILIA in collaboration with the Bangladesh Legal Aid Services Trust (BLAST) Death Penalty Project Limited incorporated and registered in England and Wales with company number 05579286.
Ms. Silvee is also an
Adjunct Faculty at Green University of Bangladesh and associated with Centre
for International Sustainable Development Law (CISDL) under McGill University
as a Legal Researcher in the Cross-cutting Program on Governance, Institutions
& Accountability. The areas of her research interest include constitutional
law, human rights and criminal law. She is also a regular newspaper contributor.
Recently, she has been appointed as Global Peace Ambassador by the Global Peace
Chain Organization, a project of 20+ international organizations across the
world which initiated a worldwide campaign on peace building and social
justice.
